The XIOS Power Rating System

XPR is the athlete evaluation system that measures force, speed, power, and movement—then places you into the right training environment to improve fast. Built with VALD testing (ForceDecks + NordBord) and performance metrics athletes actually need.

Why XPR

Most athletes train without a real baseline. XPR gives you the truth—how you produce force, where you leak power, and what raises injury risk. Then we use that data to place you into the right group training, hybrid plan, or personal training path.

  • 📊 Measured Performance ForceDecks + NordBord data that shows power output, asymmetry, and risk flags.
  • ⚡ Speed + Power Acceleration and explosive outputs that carry to game day (and expose what to fix).
  • 🎯 Placement + Plan We don’t guess. Your evaluation leads to the right training environment and priorities.

Stop Guessing. Get Rated.

Every serious athlete starts with an evaluation. XPR sets the baseline and tells you exactly what to train next.

What You Get

  • Objective data: Force, power, asymmetry, and hamstring strength metrics you can track.
  • Coach interpretation: Clear “what it means” breakdown—no confusing dashboards.
  • Training placement: We recommend the right path—group, hybrid, or PT—based on your profile.

How XPR Works

Baseline Testing

ForceDecks CMJ + NordBord hamstring strength to identify power and asymmetry.

Movement Review

Quick look at landing/braking patterns to flag power leaks and durability issues.

XPR Rating

We summarize strengths, limitations, and risk flags into a clear athlete profile.

Placement

You get placed into the right training environment with targets for the first block.

What We Measure

  • Force + Power: ForceDecks jump metrics, asymmetry, strategy.
  • Hamstring Integrity: NordBord strength and left-right imbalance flags.
  • Movement Quality: Landing and braking efficiency under control.
  • Next-Step Direction: Exactly what to train and where you should train.

FAQ

Who is XPR for?

Athletes who want real answers—middle school through college. Multi-sport athletes welcome. We start with testing, then place you into the right training environment.

Do I need to be “elite” to do XPR?

No. XPR is how we build athletes correctly. If you’re serious, we can test you, set a baseline, and give you a plan.

What should I bring?

Training shoes, water, and athletic clothing. If your sport uses specific footwear (cleats), bring them if requested for movement work.

Is XPR a workout?

No—XPR is an evaluation. You’ll do a few high-quality efforts for testing, but the goal is measurement and direction, not fatigue.

Do I get a training plan?

XPR includes a clear placement recommendation (group, hybrid, or PT) and priorities. Training plans are delivered inside the program you choose next.

Where are you located?

We are in Gilroy, California. We serve athletes from Morgan Hill, Hollister, San Jose, and the wider Bay Area.

Can teams or clubs do this?

Yes. We offer team testing blocks and can run XPR Snapshot or Assessment for groups. Contact us to schedule.
